My Easter Sunday

We had a great day celebrating our Risen Savior, with lots of family and friends. Started the morning off at church watching 2 of the grandbabies singing in the musical, it was really cute. Tara Humphries and several young women did a great job with the kids. Including Lacy who helped out with it. Listening to what Lacy would say about how my precious grandkids would act at practice it was going to be interesting. But it turns out they Did behave after all. Glad for that, although when Masyn spotted Tara she said very loud "I want my momma", haha so she sang about half before going to sit with mom. Really after her performance in the Christmas school production, she did 100 times better. Brinley did the motions and sang the songs and did a great job.
Brother Robert gave a great message and then we had the Lords Supper. One highlight was Mike and Laci singing. Of course I had to cry through the whole song, it was beautiful. After church we hurried home so I could get my lunch ready for all my guest. Menu: Ham, Pork Tenderloin, Roasted Red Potatoes, Green Chili Corn, Red Beans, Broccoli Casserole, Salad, Rolls, and for dessert Momma Ann's Pound Cake, Yummy Cupcakes and Banana Split Cake. Can  you say "Stuffed", that would be me after lunch! Thanks to everyone for bringing the food, makes it easy on everyone and everything was delicious!!
Next we had a massive egg hunt! We need some more kiddos hunting eggs because we probably had 100 eggs for 4 Lil children, that's alot of eggs! And really we needed some grass to hide those eggs in. Also, note to self: "No Confetti Eggs next year" just sayin... and we will leave it at that.
All in all it was a great day, wonderful times shared with my family and friends, great food, kids having fun, the weather was great and the Best thing my son-in-law Garrett became a Christian.<3 What more could I ask for.  Thank you Lord for all the blessings in my life. You are an Awesome God!

Also we celebrated my dads 72nd birthday. It was the day before. Happy Birthday Dad!! Love you. (:
