House Updates!

I know, I know, it has been awhile since I have updated. But I'm doing it now so calm down... :)

It seems sometimes that things couldn't go any slower, then all the sudden, you look and "bam" you have a fireplace on the back porch!  When we got  home from Austin and after church this morning I drove up to see what had been done. We have 4 windows in and the front porch is on and decked.  It looks so good!

Electrician will be getting started soon. He has already put some conduit in the front so the "brickers" can start the stone around the bottom of the house. In case I want a fountain or something that needs to be plugged in. Brad and I have done a walk through marking a place for light switches and that kind of thing. That was kinda difficult.
They have been doing some stucco on some areas and it looks so good.

Also I have picked out some "Granite" that I'm totally in love with. It is black, gray, cream, and kind of a taupe color. I really love it!

I was really concerned about how my brick and stone would look together, but it looks great!  Well in my opinion any way!!

So that's about it. I don't really know whats next. I do know that there is some painting that needs to be done on the overhangs and soffits and the stucco. All that needs to be done so he doesn't have to tape off close to the roof areas.

So anyway I know maybe it doesn't sound like that much has been accomplished but it's moving along.

David and Billy this is where the staircase will be.

The second story has been wall in, no more daylight.

Brickers starting the outdoor fireplace. Bob and Reed on the Skytrack doing something.

Fireplace work for the Lanai.

TaDa!! Love it!

This is the window that's been put in and the stucco and you can see the finished fireplace.

These are the paint choices for the stucco color. I'm thinking the 4th one from the left.
This is the back of the house, just showing some of the "Decra Roof."
More of the back of the house and the side. Views of stucco and the dormer and the door from the garage.

The kids play area. It steps up here, so they should have fun jumping off the steps here. Especially Haden!
